![]() ![]() ![]() But still you should move to neovim, its much faster, and holds lots of promise.įor the theme, just open the preferences of whatever terminal emulator you use and select the colors or download one off the internet, I'm using a heavily modified version of base-16-eighties dark (this is really general because I don't know what you're using). I'm using neovim myself but I dont split terminals in it because by default in a terminal in neovim it causes bold characters to use the intense/bright colour set, which screws over my entire setup. Unless you have neovim you can't split with terminals in vim though. Its functionality is much more than that though, creating windows and whatnot, highly recommend you check it out. Then use C-z arrow-key to move between them. ![]() Basic functionality is (ctrl+z) + % to create a vertical split and C-z + " to create a horizontal split. Basically in a single terminal window you can open multiple terminals and multiplex input into them. ![]()
